Scottish Marine Bill Campaign

The Scottish Government has launched its first ever public consultation for a Scottish Marine Bill.

The Bill proposes some reforms of the Conservation of Seals Act 1970, however it does not prohibit the killing of seals.

The Campaign Aim

SPAG is seeking to ensure that the final Marine Bill includes full legal protection for seals.

Take Action

Strength comes in numbers, so to ensure that the Bill protects seals it is vital that as many people as possible respond to the consultation.

How to respond – online questionnaire

You can respond in full to the consultation by clicking here and completing the online questionnaire.
