We have a couple of cycle initiatives that ran in Stevenage this summer one is continuing into the autumn.
Families into Cycling is a series of free short introductory training
courses funded by Sport Stevenage,
were launched at Health Action Day on February 14th at the Arts and Leisure Centre.
Booking forms and furthur information ise available on the Cycle Instructor website. If you know anyone who may be interested do point them in the right direction, however places are stictly limited so don't wait too long.
The Stevenage Urban Transport Plan is up for a public consultation. Please take a look at it and put in your feedback. Lets make sure that the work that has been put into this on your behalf is not wasted!
Meanwhile, after much moaning about it, SBC have finally added a reasonable section about cycling onto their website. However I challenge you to find it!! Try from here. If you need help, try looking under Transport, Roads and Footpaths. Please submit feedback if you think that it could be useful to help them improve their site, I have.
